I found this garage on the Car Talk forum mechanic's files to evaluate my daughter's old car after she had just moved from the northeast. Based on their advice we decided to junk the car. They charged me nothing. Then she bought a new car which turned out to need ball joints, and she was abandoned by the dealer (who we will pursue in other ways). The work was done very quickly and competently at a fair price. They are a delight to deal with and have earned our business.

We have been taking our cars here since we moved to Durham. We trust them and do not plan to take our cars anywhere else.

Professional and reliable auto service.

My engine ran strangely recently. So, I asked Northgate Auto Service to find the cause and they quickly found that the catalytic converter was not working well. On top of that, they prepared a replacement next day at a good price and fix the problem. I'm really grateful for the quick and professional work.
