Took my car in for an oil change and inspection. Turned out that my car had a recall. They fully explained the recall to me and printed out the paper work for me. The mechanic said they could do the work there but it would be cheaper for me to go to the dealership. He explained everything that I needed to ask the dealership for to have the recall fixed and warned me that they would tell me all these other things that are wrong. They checked out the car and said there wasn't any additional work that needed to be done and not to get sucked into the dealerships trap. They explained other questions that I had without being condescending or like they were just pushing me through to get me in and out. I will definitely go back and suggest this place to friends.

They've been doing my family's auto work since the 70's. I live out of town now, but still make the trip to Durham so that Northgate Express can still do all my auto maintenance. Can there be any greater testimonial as to the quality of their professionalism and skill?

This place has iutstanding customer service! My volvo had a minor computer glitch. They could've lied and charged me some outrageous fee! I paid the diagnostic fee only! Everyone was extremely helpful, I'll be back!
